The article reviews scholarly literature on teaching biodiversity with digital technologies. It considers the didactic potential of mobile applications, citizen-science platforms, geographic information systems, open datasets, virtual reality, and augmented reality. The synthesis indicates that effectiveness depends less on technological novelty than on pedagogical integration with field observation, inquiry tasks, data analysis, and structured reflection.
